It was around this time last year that I had a “failed” launch.

After pouring A TON of time and energy optimizing a program that was supposed to be my flagship offer, I ended with ZERO people signed up.

I’ve been in business long enough to not freak TF out BUT something about this felt different.

I couldn’t outrun the truth.

At the end of 2023, I felt a tickle. A restlessness that said, “There’s something more here.”

It took me two years and a failed launch for more me to finally SLOW DOWN enough to let that restless feeling land. And when it did, I couldn’t outrun the truth anymore…

I was severely under-utilized in my own damn business.

It wasn’t that I didn’t adore my clients, or I didn’t believe in my offers.

I realized they were just a SLIVER of what I was capable of doing. But the question remained – if not this, then what?

So I did the thing you’re nOt SuPpOsEd To Do – I took a break.

I went on my infamous Tomato Break

I used my planned trip to New York City to retreat and recalibrate. And it was during this respite that the answer landed.

On the escalator of the SoHo Aritzia, the vision came thru so clearly: a headquarters for women building new worlds.

I tore it all down.

Guided by this new vision, I sunsetted Soul Flow Co. Five years of brand equity gone. Dropped my title of Spiritual Business Coach. Archived offers. Lost followers and subscribers.

Sure there were moments of uncertainty, but the potent vision anchored me.

The name dropped: Stellium. In astrology, a stellium is a constellation of multiple planets powerfully converged under one house. PERFECT.

Knowing this, my business model shifted and a new movement emerged.

I felt like I was finally building something with a broad enough foundation to support my vision, and more importantly – my emerging self-concept.

Oh and I got pregnant.

My expansion in NYC went beyond business. It was here that I also conceived a child – naturally. Against statistics as a cancer thriver and 41 year old (and despite recommendation by my oncologist to get a hysterectomy just a week prior 👀).

Little did I know, I was being initiated into a new role: MATRIARCH.

Knowing I had a little one coming in a few months, I intentionally designed Stellium to fit my life as a Mama of two.

I went against the “popular” business advise. I took big investment risks. I concentrated on depth and intimacy instead of speed and volume. I hosted an in-person launch party when everyone else cut their marketing budget.

It all paid off.

In January, after this HUGE business pivot and at 8 months pregnant, I had my most profitable month at $65k.

My clients were powerhouses. I created huge buzz beyond just the coaching industry. People were watching. Opportunities were dropping.

I went on maternity leave in February feeling the most relaxed I’ve ever been because finally FINALLY, I created something that matched the MAGNITUDE and CALIBER I knew I was meant for.

All of this because I chose REST over HUSTLE.

Rest that didn’t just look like meditation and matcha and hugging trees and chanting in circles.

It was disrupting patterns that kept me in overthinking, overtweaking, overcorrecting, overreacting. It was blank space to ALLOW the creative visions come through.

Actively placing myself in spaces that EXPANDED my self-concept.
